Our office is here to provide you with the latest contact lens technology. This includes everything from silicone-hydrogel contacts approved for overnight wear to soft and gas permeable bifocals. We also provide specialty contact lenses for people with keratoconus.

Dr. Black graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Biology and a minor in Mathematics. He received his doctorate in Optometry from the University of Houston in 1990. Dr. Black is a optometric therapeutic glaucoma specialist, licensed and board certified to treat and manage many forms of ocular disease, inlcuding eye infections, foreign body removal, dry eyes & glaucoma. He is a proud member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and the Dallas County Optometric Society.
ALENA MEANS / OFFICE MANAGER
Alena has been in the optometric business since 1994, and is experienced in all fields of the industry. She is Dr. Black's Office Administrator. Alena also schedules one-on-one consultations with patients concerning Lasik and special needs. She is a Board Certified Optician.
